A shocking case has emerged in Uttarakhand, where Aadhaar cards have been issued to 106% of the estimated population. This has raised concerns about demographic changes and potential corruption. While the government has previously expressed worries about this issue, the latest data suggests that outsiders may be illegally obtaining Aadhaar cards.

Senior journalist Jai Singh Rawat called it a serious conspiracy, stating, "If infiltrators and outsiders are getting fake Aadhaar cards, it poses a major security threat."

Congress MLA Lakhpat Butola accused the government of vote-bank politics, saying, "Fake Aadhaar cards could lead to electoral fraud and threaten Uttarakhand’s identity." Meanwhile, BJP MLA Bishan Singh Chufal also demanded an investigation, particularly concerning people migrating from Nepal.

Now, pressure is mounting on the government to conduct a fair investigation and take action against those responsible. The big question remains: will this issue be resolved, or will it become another political controversy?
