While administering the oath to the members of the newly elected executive of the Secretariat Association, the Chief Minister announced to provide an amount of ₹ 30 lakh for the formation of Secretariat Employees Welfare Fund and to make arrangements for a visitor room in the Secretariat.

Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is our responsibility to live up to the expectations of the people of the state. He said that the Secretariat is the foundation of good governance in the state and decisions for the future of the state are taken from here.

He exhorted that employees to play a big role in implementing public welfare schemes with sensitivity and transparency and extending benefits to the last person in the society.

The Chief Minister congratulated Uttarakhand Secretariat Association President Mr. Sunil Lakheda, Vice President Jeetmani Painuli, General Secretary Rakesh Joshi and all the members of the executive committee. He expressed hope that the new office bearers will be helpful in discharging their responsibilities by providing all-round development of the state.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that a new work culture, a new cordial working environment will be seen in the Uttarakhand Secretariat in the coming days.
